LIFE STORY WRITING"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." John LennonInformation:Medical research has documented the health benefits of writing one's life story. Of primary value is enhanced mental clarity and a deepened sense of emotional satisfaction. For further information, please see the attached document, Benefits of Memoir WritingThroughout the years, the concept of "writing one's story" has evolved into a vast array of options, based on one's vision, energy and creative desires. The memoir may be a collection of vignettes, which are like short jaunts into the past. These stories may be gathered into a book at random or organized in a chronological fashion with supplemental family history and genealogical charts. On the other end of the spectrum, one may choose to write full-bodied, robust memoirs. Vignettes can become chapters and the entire book can include photos, artwork and memorabilia. Bindings can range from plastic spirals to leather-bound missives. All can be lovingly created and passed from one generation to the next. The key is not the format, it is the heart and soul of the storyteller. Services:Through 1:1 consultation, I provide:
